Hanna and David

Hanna and David- Colehays park, Devon

I first met Hanna and David not long after the birth of their Son, we wandered off into Cockington Park in Torbay to chat about the upcoming wedding and also have a few pre wedding shots.

As the wedding came along it was clear to me that Hanna had put in a lot of effort for the most perfect Devon country wedding, she had a very relaxed attitude and really wanted Dartmoor to play a big part in her and David's day. Colehays was the perfect location for them, sat right at the edge of the moors they could really get them and their guests involved with life in Devon for the weekend.
They really wanted to go with a vintage style wedding, from the detailing on Hanna's dress to the tea cups and flowers, it all blended very well with an authentic, classic look.
Hannah wasn't done with the dramatic scenes of Dartmoor or the beauty of the surroundings at Colehays, she went all out and entertained her guests with a live birds of prey show, fun was had by old and young while these amazing birds flew over head.

Rebecca and Scott

Hunton Park, Herts

This wedding is one close to my heart, I have known Rebecca's sister for years and went to Sarah's wedding only last year, how time flies! Scott and Rebecca are two of the most loving people I know, they have a great family around them and friends to match. The travel up to Hertfordshire was an interesting one with the car in the garage we had to hire one, all fun and never a dull moment! We arrived at the hotel the night before the wedding and met everyone having pre wedding dinner in the pub near by, it is times like this you really get to experience the whole of the wedding process with the families, it is an honor to be granted such close access to a very personal event.
Scott and Rebecca were so blessed with the weather, it was baking! The boys, in the heat suited up while the girls battled with the heat and the added bonus of a hairdryer! Everyone was on good form and things were coming together for the days events.

They had a beautiful ceremony at St Pauls Church, Langlebury and then headed back to the De Vere hotel for a colorful reception which included drinks in the landscaped gardens before sitting down to some amazing food and very emotional speeches!

Hannah and Adam 23rd June 2012

Courtlands House, Lympstone

Hannah and Adam got married this year at Courtlands House in Lympstone, with views looking over the estuary and extensive gardens it really was the perfect location for them.
The boys had chosen to treat themselves to a traditional wet shave in the morning - much to my amusement! I think their face says it all!
Friends and Family gathered awaiting Hannah's arrival, Adam with his Boy's now all clean shaven waited in anticipation as his Bride arrived in style in a vintage car.
Although the weather had held off the rain we did suffer with the wind, not to Hannah's approval but to mine as it danced with her veil outside the building.
Hannah had put so much effort into the small details of the day, I was amazed at the things that kept popping up throughout the day. From stat to finish you had to applaud Hannah and Adam in their great organisational skills!

Caroline and Eddie, Edgemoor Hotel

The wedding of Caroline and Eddie took place at the church in Bovey tracey and then they celebrated in style at the Edgemoor Hotel just on the edge of Dartmoor. A stunning location in one of my favorite areas of Devon - The moors!
Caroline got ready with her girls around her at the Edhgemoor before making her way in a vintage style car to the church, she wore a beautiful ivoy dress covered all over with intracate lace, she looked amazing.
Eddie and the boys waited at the church in full kilts and looked fab all together too, afer a lovely service and a good old sing song, we made our way back to the Edgemoor for a fe drinks and socialising. The weather really did hold off  for them, threatening to down pour at any time- I think we got away with it very lightly! We managed to get outside for a few photos before heading in for food, speaches (I know Eddie was not looking forward to it) and of course some dancing - Not just dancing but with a Scottish Kayle Band none the less! Brilliant day guys, all the best of luck to you both.
